On the 17th February 2022, we had the pleasure of welcoming back Lucan Cycling Club to Torrevieja for their pre-season cycling club tour. It was great to finally see some friendly and familiar faces from previous years, and provide them with our quality Cervélo R-Series carbon road bike hire/ rental service and support.
It was great to receive the call from John to organise the booking, and finally welcome these guys back to Spain, as their last trip was February 2020 just before the dreaded lockdown!
This year they have chosen to stay at the Hotel Fontana Plaza in Torrevieja, which is a change from the preferred base at Hotel La Zenia, but this isn’t a problem as we offer our delivery and collection service in Torrevieja. In addition to delivery, we also bring our professional mechanic (Laureano) along for large group bookings, to help each cyclist with their bike setup.

Once all the guys are happy with their bike setup, for us its time to watch them as they go off to begin their cycling club tour, making memories on our Cervélo R3/ S3 Disc Ultegra’s.
Torrevieja is a great base for cycling with many GPX routes available for download on our website, see below the routes maps used for this tour, with their first spin in the sunshine taking them from Torrevieja to Torremendo and the reservoir “Embalse de La Pedrera”.
Its great to share routes that our customers have enjoyed, and we always look forward to hearing about the best bits when we return for bike collection at the end of the tour.
